Founder & President

Sydne Garchik

Sydne Garchik is a highly accomplished and driven real estate professional with a proven track record in property investment, development, and management. Sydne has demonstrated expertise in affordable housing preservation, multi-family real estate acquisitions, and community-focused initiatives. Sydne is adept at fostering strategic partnerships and delivering exceptional results.

In 2015 Sydne established MRK Partners, a prominent real estate investment and management firm specializing in the acquisition, repositioning, preservation, and creation of affordable multi-family properties across the nation.

Sydne presently oversees a substantial portfolio comprising approximately 4,000 units and 23 properties, 406 of which are new units under construction or in predevelopment.

Chief Operating Officer

Cathy Coler

Cathy Coler serves as the Chief Operating Officer at MRK Partners. With over a decade of finance leadership, she is responsible for overseeing tax credit financing, renovations, overall portfolio management, and strategic planning for the company.

As COO, Cathy streamlines daily operations and improves procedures for optimal efficiency. Additionally, she collaborates with executives to develop long-term goals, identify growth opportunities, and implement business-expanding strategies.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and resides in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.

Chief Revenue Officer

Meredith Esarey

Meredith Esarey serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at MRK Partners, where she oversees the asset management and finance teams. Additionally, she leads the human resources division and plays a key role in shaping the company’s organizational strategy, vision, and team development.

Meredith is an accomplished executive with over nineteen years of experience and leadership in the financial sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from the University of Kentucky.

Meredith currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.

President Emeritus

Brad Ingerman

Brad Ingerman currently serves as President Emeritus at MRK Partners, where he continues to contribute his decades of expertise in affordable and market-rate housing development.

He is also the founder, President, and CEO of Ingerman, a vertically integrated real estate company specializing in market-rate and affordable housing development across the Mid-Atlantic. Since founding Ingerman in 1988, he has overseen the development of more than 7,000 residences totaling over $1.4 billion.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduating cum laude from Villanova University in 1975. He also earned a J.D. degree from Widener School of Law in 1979 and attended New York University’s School of Law Masters in Taxation program.

Brad frequently lectures on affordable housing finance and development.

President, MRK Property Management

Mary French

Mary French serves as President of MRK Property Management, bringing more than 33 years of property management and leadership experience, including her longstanding tenure at Ingerman prior to joining MRK’s expanded platform.

Throughout her career, she has led diverse market-rate and affordable housing portfolios, driven operational excellence, and championed employee development. Known for her people-first leadership and strategic vision, Mary now leads MRK Property Management with a focus on scalable growth, operational rigor, and delivering high-quality resident experiences across the expanding platform.

Development Principal

Geoffrey Long

Geoffrey Long is a Development Principal at MRK Partners, bringing extensive experience in affordable housing development, including his longstanding tenure at Ingerman prior to joining MRK.

He focuses on sourcing equity and debt for LIHTC transactions, evaluating development opportunities, securing public and private financing, and coordinating housing development.

During his time at Ingerman, beginning in 2006, he advanced numerous affordable housing projects and successfully executed multiple LIHTC applications.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College and a Master’s degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.

General Counsel

Kyle C. Webster

Kyle C. Webster serves as General Counsel at MRK Partners, bringing over a decade of experience and expertise to the team.

Kyle is a respected affordable housing attorney, previously serving as General Counsel of a large-Pennsylvania based nonprofit developer. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate for affordable housing policy, testifying before federal, state, and local officials on various pieces of proposed legislation. He has specifically worked extensively in eviction prevention policy work and has spoken at the state and national level on the need for comprehensive and well-funded eviction intervention and housing stabilization programming. He currently serves as a Commissioner on the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations and is on the Board of Directors for Regional Housing Legal Services, Pennsylvania Utility Law Project, Shiftworks Community + Public Art, and Garfield Community Farm.

Kyle holds a juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and a Master of Education and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maine.

Outside of work, Kyle is an avid cyclist and backpacker. He and his husband live together in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where they enjoy supporting the local community, drinking beer, and eating at every restaurant possible.

General Counsel

Ronen (Ronnie) Mitra

Ronen (Ronnie) Mitra serves as General Counsel at MRK Partners, bringing extensive experience in real estate development, finance, and corporate transactions, including his longstanding tenure at Ingerman prior to joining MRK.

He oversees legal matters related to development, financing, construction, and portfolio management, while providing strategic guidance on acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory issues, and risk management.

Ronnie previously practiced public finance and commercial real estate law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University.

Vice President of Compliance

Christine Ramsay

Christine Ramsay serves as Vice President of Compliance at MRK Partners, bringing decades of affordable housing compliance expertise.

Prior to MRK Partners, she spent much of her career at Ingerman, where she helped build and lead its compliance department. She oversees regulatory compliance across LIHTC, HUD Section 8, Public Housing, HOME, and other affordable housing programs, supporting strong operational standards across MRK’s property management portfolio.

Christine also brings experience from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and holds multiple industry certifications.

Director of Acquisitions

Hai Nguyen

Hai Nguyen serves as Director of Acquisitions at MRK Partners. He leads the acquisitions efforts, leveraging over seventeen years of experience and expertise.

Hai Nguyen has a proven track record and has assisted in acquiring over half a billion dollars worth of Affordable Real Estate. He is responsible for identifying new investment opportunities, specializing in securing both debt and tax credit equity.

Hai Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Finance from Oregon State University.

Outside of work, Hai Nguyen prioritizes quality time with his friends and family.

Director of Community Impact

Amanda Feldman

Amanda Feldman serves as Director of Community Impact at MRK Partners, bringing over 12 years of social work expertise and leadership to the organization.

Amanda has an established track record of delivering client-centered services across multiple settings, including schools, hospitals, shelters, and affordable housing communities, while developing innovative programs that serve diverse populations.

Her areas of specialization include case management, community resource coordination, and the design of scalable resident programming that enhances community well-being and outcomes.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Amanda combines clinical expertise with strategic program development.

Outside of her professional work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.

Director of Human Resources

Angela Biggs

Angela Biggs serves as Director of Human Resources at MRK Partners, bringing more than a decade of human resources leadership experience across property management, marketing and fundraising, and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining MRK’s expanded platform, Angela built extensive HR leadership experience during her tenure at Ingerman, which began in 2016.

In her role, Angela oversees the daily operations of Human Resources, including HRIS systems, employee relations, talent management, and compliance. She plays a key role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives, supporting organizational growth, and fostering a consistent, people-centered employee experience.

Angela holds dual Master of Science degrees in Human Resources Management and Health Care Administration from Wilmington University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University.

Head of Brand & Marketing

Tiffany Gresham

Tiffany Gresham serves as Head of Brand & Marketing at MRK Partners, where she leads and oversees all marketing initiatives across the organization, driving brand strategy, reputation, and visibility in alignment with growth objectives, and the company’s mission.

Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where she further developed her expertise in marketing, leadership, and strategic growth.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Tiffany enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her dog, Penny. She values balance, creativity, and authentic leadership.
